IMPORTANT REMINDER

Please do not attend Mass in Church if you feel unwell with fever, cough, sore throat or flu-like symptoms. Stay home and follow the live-streamed Mass instead.

 

GENERAL REMINDER

Parishioners are reminded to show reverence to the Lord and consideration for others as follows. We seek your kind cooperation and understanding so that we can all worship comfortably as a Church:

 

-Please arrive early and be seated at least 10 minutes before Mass begins to avoid causing unnecessary interruption or distraction.

 

-The sacredness of the Eucharistic celebration urges all participants to dress appropriately when entering the Church for Holy Mass andmanifest the importance of what we are doing as a worshipping community.

 

-Wearing of face masks in Church is no longer mandatory but highly encouraged, especially in crowded and closed environment.

 

-Those sick with flu-like symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, runny nose, etc.) are to exercise prudence and refrain from joining the congregation in Church.

 

 

DAILY ROSARY RECITATION will held as follows in October:

-Weekends: Half an hour before the Weekend Masses in the Cathedral.

-Monday - Thursday: 8 pm at the Cathedral’s Shrine of Our Lady.

-Thursday (17 & 24 October): 8 pm at the Cathedral (with Holy Hour).

-Friday: 7 pm at the Carmelite Chapel before the usual Friday Holy Hour at 7:30 pm.

 

THANKSGIVING MASS FOR ST. JOSEPH'S PARISH FAMILY DAY 2024 will be celebrated on Friday, 18 October 2024, 8:00 pm at the Cathedral. All pre-sale and stall operators, kind donors, sponsors, benefactors, organising sub-committees and all those who have, in one way or the other, contributed to the success of our Parish Family Day are requested to attend this Thanksgiving Mass with your family and group members.

Closing date for submission is Thursday, 17 October 2024 before 12:00 noon. No Mass stipend is required.

 

Note: The 5:30 pm daily Mass will be cancelled that evening.

GROWTH is a ministry to people with disabilities. Holy Mass will be celebrated on the third Sunday of every month specially for GROWTH members, family members, caregivers, kind benefactors and anyone interested to serve or support this ministry.

 

The upcoming GROWTH Mass is on Sunday, 20 October 2024, 1:30 pm at the Day Chapel. All are welcome!
