PRE-UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS- St. Joseph's International School (SJIS) is offering two internationally recognised pre-university programs, namely Cambridge A-Level and Western Australian Matriculation. HOUSE-TO-HOUSE CHRISTMAS CAROLING-  Parishioners who wish to invite Christmas Carolling groups to your homes are requested to either fill-in the Request forms available at the Church entrances. Please return your completed forms to the Drop-off boxes provided at the Church entrances or send them directly to the Parish Office latest by Thursday, 28 November 2024. 

PRAYER INTENTIONS FOR COMBINED REQUIEM MASSES (CRM) IN NOVEMBER is offered on ALL SOULS' DAY and on ALL FRIDAYS IN NOVEMBER. Parishioners who wish to offer their intentions in any of these Masses are requested to register online via this link: https://forms.gle/uKH6DbwKV2oXQrc48

MASS OFFERING (MO) intentions will be offered by our priests privately on a daily basis except on Sunday. Any request for a mass to be said for your prayer intention on a ‘specified’ date must be submitted to the Parish Office at least one week in advance. Otherwise, your prayer intentions will be offered up at any time (at the discretion of our priests).

 

Note: The stipend (money) given by the Christian faithful for a Mass to be offered for a particular intention is not a fee but an expression of our gratitude to God and our contribution to the Church. Official receipts will be issued by the Parish Office accordingly.

 

COLLECTION OF CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR RURAL CHILDREN will begin on the First Sunday of Advent weekend, 30 November until 11 December 2024. Kindly adhere to the following guidelines to help facilitate the distribution of your gifts:

(i)   Kindly contribute NEW GIFTS ONLY (one that you would give to your own child).

(ii)  Please DO NOT send in any USED toys, clothing, or any fragile or breakable items.

(iii) Please DO NOT WRAP YOUR GIFTS this year but instead provide sufficient Christmas wrapping papers for the gifts you contribute.

(iv) Kindly LABEL your gifts accordingly: BOY ;  GIRL or BOY & GIRL and also indicate the AGE RANGE (e.g. Boy, 8 - 12 years).

(v) Three separate boxes labeled “BOYS”; “GIRLS”; & “BOYS & GIRLS” will be placed at the sanctuary area for parishioners to deposit your gifts accordingly.

(vi) CLOSING DATE to submit your gifts is by Wednesday, 11 December 2024. This is to ensure that your gifts reach the rural parishes in time for their Children’s Christmas Party at the kampung level.
